GUIDANCE FOR TEMPORARY REGISTRATION APPLICATION PROCESS

The following instructions outline the procedure for applying for Temporary Registration (Non-Gambians) through the MDCG online portal. The objective of the online application portal is to fast track the application process and ensure accurate information is retained by Council..
 
Requirements for Temporary Registration
1. Copy of Primary Medical/Dental Qualification (e.g. MD, BDS, MBBS, MBChB.)
2. Copy of Registration and Licensing Certificates or evidence of registration from the country of origin or last country of practice.
3. Copy of a Certificate of Good Standing (sometimes called Certificate of Professional Status) from a Medical Regulatory Authority from the country of origin or last country of practice
4. Copy of passport information page.
5. Recent Passport size picture of not more than six (6) months old
6. Letter of intent from anticipated place of work
7. Proof of payment

Procedure for filling the online application form

1. Click the register now button below.
2. You are required to scan and upload copies of your qualifications, copy of Registration and Licensing Certificates or evidence of registration from the country of origin or last country of practice, copy of a Certificate of Good Standing (sometimes called Certificate of Professional Status) from a Medical Regulatory Authority from the country of origin or last country of practice and a recent passport size picture, proof of payment from bank (deposit slip)
3. Click “Submit” after confirming the accuracy of information
